But, I am having fun!!

When I say it takes a while to get my creative juices flowing, it usually means I don't start my creations until night time. That's when I'm in my creative zone, after all the chores and errands are done and everything is put away and life seems to quiet down. But, having not been in my SB room for quite some time it's taking a little longer to get back in the groove.
The only way I can usually start early is if I already have a project going or I already know what I'm going to create.
So I started out early yesterday and it was another day of intending to create that ended up as another BIG organizing project! I sorted all my paper that was not  in place properly.... Sorted patterned papers into Christmas, Valentine's, and birthday categories, to name a few.
I have other things on the list to organize but as I was texting Melinda last night about the BIG project she said "Get it done! Have fun!" And I thought about it and I said, "But, I am having fun!"
{Patterned Papers}
{Solid Paper/Cardstock} Solids were already organized. My dad made several 12x12 wooden cubes to hold my papers.... I ❤ them!

Back in the saddle again

After attending GASC this year I've decided to try to get back to my art projects. I attend the convention every year but I hardly make time for myself to actually create and play in the back room.... My scrapbook room.
I was so excited to see that Tim Holtz was at the convention and he was doing demos! And to think, I almost didn't go to the convention this year! I got to see him in person!  I learned so much!! There are so many new styles, techniques and products I have not attempted that I felt a bit lost and like a newbie all over again! But intimidated? Heck no! I'm ready to kick start my heart into paper arts and crafts once again! I'm a butterfly-born again and introduced into a brand new world of techniques and products!
Below is a pic of me watching demos with Tim Holtz

The pic below are my tim Holtz zipper bags. I had 2 autographed - one with my real name and the other with my profile name that I use just about everywhere.
